Buenos Aires - Mingo's giros

Minog and Esther arrived with reinforcements; he brought several of his male apprentices to help correct the gender unbalance in the group.

Mingo showed how the giro is normally entered on steps 1 or 4 and exited from 3 (in cross system), 6 or 8 of the eight positions available as the follower completes two full turns around the leader.

First we had to revise the giro to leader's right.

1	Follower led into forward ocho on leader's right side ; leader's left foot swings in front of his right leg before it sacadas follower's trailing left leg

4	Leader's right foot moves forward as Follower is led into side step;

5	Follower led into forward ocho on leader's right side ; leader's left foot swings in front his right leg before it sacadas follower's trailing left leg

6	Follower led into side step; leader's right leg sacadas follower's right leg

7	Follower led into backward step (& count) leader's left leg deep alongside (and on the left of) her left leg for the boleo

8	Leader's right leg moves forward and around right of Follower to lead her out in parallel
